Sorority Link
Community Terms of Service & User Guidelines
Operated by LE CARR LLC
1. Ownership and Purpose
Sorority Link is an online social community owned and operated by LE CARR LLC (“LE CARR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Sorority Link is designed to help adults interested in sorority life, prospective sorority members, current members, and alumnae connect, communicate, share experiences, and access community-related information.
Sorority Link is not a separate legal entity or independent company. It is operated by LE CARR LLC.
Sorority Link operates through a website and may use third-party platforms, applications, hosting providers, and service providers to facilitate its community features.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Sorority Link is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with any university, college, national sorority, fraternity, Greek-letter organization, or governing body.
References to schools, chapters, organizations, or Greek-letter organizations are for informational and community purposes only and do not imply official authorization or endorsement.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account or accessing or using Sorority Link's community features, you agree to these Terms and the applicable Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not create an account or use the community features.
These Terms govern participation in Sorority Link's community. Separate terms, policies, or agreements may apply to purchases, payments, or other services offered through the broader website.
Where required by law, we will provide notice of material changes or obtain appropriate consent before implementing revised Terms.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
Sorority Link accounts are intended for individuals aged 18 or older.
By creating an account or using account-based community features, you represent that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- The information you provide is accurate and not misleading.
- You will maintain reasonably accurate account information.
- You will not impersonate another person or falsely claim a school, chapter, membership, credential, or organizational affiliation.
- You will take reasonable steps to protect your account credentials.
- You will notify us of suspected unauthorized access to your account.
You may not create an account on behalf of another person without appropriate authorization.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law. You are not automatically responsible for activity you did not authorize and could not reasonably control.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, security concerns, violations of these Terms, underage registration, or other legitimate operational concerns, subject to applicable law.
4. User Content and Responsibility
Sorority Link may allow users to create profiles and submit text, photographs, videos, comments, messages, and other materials (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of User Content that you own, subject to the licenses and permissions expressly granted in these Terms.
You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring that you have all rights, permissions, and legal authority necessary to upload, publish, and share it.
You must not upload or share content that:
- Violates another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other legal rights.
- Is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, fraudulent, or materially deceptive.
- Contains private or confidential information that you are not authorized to disclose.
- Includes photographs, recordings, or videos shared in violation of applicable law or another person's rights.
- Contains malware or other material intended to compromise the security or operation of the service.
- Exploits, endangers, or unlawfully targets another person.
- Otherwise violates these Terms or applicable law.
You are responsible for obtaining any consent required by law before sharing images, recordings, communications, or personal information involving other people.
Content shared publicly or with other members may be copied, screenshotted, downloaded, recorded, or redistributed by recipients. We cannot guarantee that content shared online will remain private or that every copy can be located or removed.
You should avoid posting information that you would not want other members or unintended recipients to see.
5. Permission to Use User Content
By submitting User Content to Sorority Link, you grant LE CARR LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, make technically necessary adaptations to, and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, moderate, and provide the community features you use.
This license may include making your content available to other users according to the platform's features, your sharing choices, and applicable visibility settings.
You authorize LE CARR LLC to permit its hosting providers, platform providers, and other service providers acting on its behalf to process User Content as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and support the service.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license.
This license does not transfer ownership of your content to LE CARR LLC and does not authorize unrelated commercial, advertising, or promotional uses of your content without an appropriate legal basis or additional permission where required.
You may request removal of your content or account, subject to applicable law, legitimate retention requirements, technical limitations, and the rights of others.
After content is removed, copies may remain temporarily in backups, legal records, or other systems where retention is reasonably necessary or legally required. Content independently copied or redistributed by other users may remain outside our control.
Nothing in this section removes rights you may have under applicable privacy or intellectual property laws.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Sorority Link to:
- Harass, bully, threaten, stalk, intimidate, exploit, or unlawfully discriminate against others.
- Impersonate another person or falsely claim membership, credentials, or official organizational affiliation.

- Share nonconsensual intimate imagery or unlawful recordings.

- Publish unlawful threats or content that unlawfully endangers others.
- Use member information for unauthorized solicitation, harassment, stalking, or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to access restricted accounts, systems, data, or features without authorization.
- Circumvent account restrictions, moderation measures, or security controls.

- Use automated methods to collect member information or community content without authorization.
- Materially misrepresent recruitment information, membership status, educational credentials, or organizational requirements in a deceptive manner.
- Engage in unlawful activity or otherwise violate these Terms.
We may determine, acting reasonably and subject to applicable law, whether conduct violates these standards.
7. Reporting and Moderation
Users may report inappropriate content, harassment, impersonation, privacy concerns, intellectual property complaints, suspected fraud, security issues, or other community concerns by contacting:
Email: team@lecarr.com
Please provide enough information to identify the relevant account or content and understand your concern. Avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information.
LE CARR LLC may review reports and take action when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, address safety or security concerns, preserve the integrity of the community, or comply with applicable law.
Actions may include:
- Removing, restricting, or disabling access to content.
- Issuing warnings or requesting corrective action.
- Restricting access to community features.
- Temporarily suspending accounts.
- Permanently terminating accounts.
- Preserving relevant information where legally appropriate.
- Referring matters to appropriate authorities when required or reasonably necessary.
We do not guarantee that every post will be reviewed, every complaint will be substantiated, or every violation will be detected.
We are not obligated to monitor every interaction or review all User Content before publication, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Where reasonably practicable, we may provide notice of significant enforcement action. We may withhold notice or information where necessary to protect users, preserve investigations, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
We may cooperate with law enforcement, courts, regulators, and other appropriate authorities where required by law or reasonably necessary to address serious safety or legal concerns.
8. Member Interactions and Information Accuracy
Users are responsible for exercising reasonable judgment when interacting with other members and deciding what information to share.
LE CARR LLC does not independently verify every member's identity, background, education, qualifications, membership status, or claimed affiliation.
We do not guarantee that members will behave honestly, respectfully, lawfully, or safely.
Information shared by members, including recruitment advice, chapter experiences, organizational policies, and personal opinions, is provided for general informational purposes and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated.
Users should verify important recruitment information, deadlines, eligibility criteria, and organizational requirements directly with the relevant official institution or organization.
User opinions and experiences do not necessarily represent the views of LE CARR LLC.
Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded for our own acts or omissions.
9. Privacy and Personal Information
Your use of Sorority Link may involve the collection and processing of account information, profile details, photographs, videos, posts, comments, communications, activity information, and technical data.
Please review the applicable Privacy Policy for information about how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and deleted, and how to exercise applicable privacy rights.
Sorority Link uses third-party platforms, applications, hosting providers, and service providers to support its website and community features. Depending on the services used and their configuration, these providers may process personal information and User Content as necessary to host, operate, maintain, secure, or support the service.
The handling of personal information by independent service providers may also be subject to their respective agreements and privacy disclosures.
You should avoid sharing sensitive personal information, financial information, account credentials, or confidential information in public posts or profiles.
We will handle privacy requests in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy, applicable law, legitimate retention requirements, and the technical capabilities of the service.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive privacy rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.
10. Intellectual Property and Copyright Complaints
LE CARR LLC owns or is authorized to use the Sorority Link and LE CARR names, logos, branding, and associated materials, except where otherwise indicated.
You may not use our protected branding in a manner that falsely suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or official affiliation without appropriate authorization.
Users must respect the intellectual property rights of LE CARR LLC, other members, and third parties.
If you believe content on Sorority Link infringes your copyright or other legal rights, contact team@lecarr.com with sufficient information to identify the content and explain your concern.
Copyright notices intended to invoke the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) must comply with applicable legal requirements and be submitted through the appropriate designated-agent procedure where applicable.
Where required, LE CARR LLC will maintain the applicable designated-agent information and procedures. We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content, notify affected users, and process counter-notifications where required or appropriate.
We may restrict or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights, in accordance with applicable law and our enforcement procedures.
Knowingly submitting materially false infringement claims or counter-notifications may have legal consequences.
This section does not replace any separate intellectual property complaint procedures required by service providers.
11. Third-Party Services
Sorority Link relies on third-party platforms, applications, hosting providers, and service providers to support its website and community features.
These services may be governed by separate terms, privacy policies, technical restrictions, and service conditions.
LE CARR LLC does not control every aspect of independent third-party systems, availability, security practices, or data processing.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for interruptions, errors, or acts or omissions attributable solely to independent third-party services outside our reasonable control.
This provision does not exclude or limit liability for our own conduct where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Changes to third-party services may affect the availability or functionality of Sorority Link.
12. Service Availability and Changes
Sorority Link is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features, content, or portions of the service for operational, security, legal, or business reasons.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, permanent availability of particular features, or preservation of all User Content in every circumstance.
Maintenance, security measures, technical problems, and changes to third-party services may temporarily affect access.
Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice or obtain any required consent for material changes.
Nothing in this section removes consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sorority Link and its community features are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LE CARR LLC does not warrant that:
- The service will always be available or uninterrupted.
- User-generated content will be accurate, complete, current, or reliable.
- Every member's identity or claimed affiliation will be verified.
- Every harmful interaction or policy violation will be prevented.
- Every reported item will be removed.
- The service will be free from every error, vulnerability, or technical issue.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LE CARR LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to use of Sorority Link, including loss of data, reputation, or opportunities, where such damages may lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms limits nonwaivable statutory rights, consumer protections, or remedies available under applicable law.
The application and enforceability of any disclaimer or limitation depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
14. User Responsibility and Third-Party Claims
To the extent permitted by applicable law, users are responsible for claims arising from their unlawful conduct, material violations of these Terms, or User Content that infringes another person's rights.
Where legally permissible, users agree to cooperate reasonably in the defense or resolution of such claims.
Nothing in these Terms requires a user to indemnify LE CARR LLC for liability caused by LE CARR LLC's own conduct where applicable law does not permit such responsibility to be transferred.
Any indemnification obligation will be interpreted only to the extent enforceable under applicable law.
15. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion
LE CARR LLC may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to Sorority Link when reasonably necessary due to violations of these Terms, unlawful conduct, abuse, security concerns, legal obligations, or legitimate operational reasons, subject to applicable law.
Users may stop using Sorority Link at any time.
Users may request account deletion by contacting team@lecarr.com or using an available account-deletion feature.
Deletion requests will be processed in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy and legal requirements.
Account deletion may remove or disable access to a profile and associated content, subject to the technical capabilities of the platform and applicable retention requirements.
Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce these Terms, protect security, prevent fraud or abuse, or satisfy legitimate recordkeeping requirements.
Content previously copied, captured, or redistributed by other users may remain outside our control. Information in backups may also persist for a limited period under applicable retention practices.
Termination does not eliminate rights or obligations that accrued before termination or provisions that by their nature should survive termination.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Sorority Link, its features, third-party services, operational practices, or applicable legal requirements.
Revised Terms will be published with an updated effective date.
Where required by law, we will provide notice of material changes or obtain renewed consent.
Continued use after revised Terms become effective will constitute acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to any required notice or consent.
If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must stop using the affected community features.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without displacing mandatory legal protections or conflict-of-law rules that apply.
Disputes concerning these Terms or Sorority Link will be handled by a court of competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a user from exercising a statutory right to bring a complaint before an appropriate regulator or pursue a remedy that cannot legally be waived.
Any contractual dispute provision will be interpreted subject to applicable consumer protection laws and other mandatory legal requirements.
18. General Provisions
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
No waiver. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.
No transfer of ownership. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Sorority Link or LE CARR LLC's intellectual property to users.
Assignment. LE CARR LLC may transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms as part of a lawful business reorganization, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the relevant business, subject to applicable law. Users may not transfer their accounts or rights under these Terms in violation of applicable law or platform restrictions.
Entire agreement. These Terms and the applicable policies incorporated into them govern use of Sorority Link's community features, subject to any separate terms governing distinct services or transactions.
Electronic acceptance. To the extent permitted by law, electronic acceptance and records may be used to establish agreement to these Terms.
